Grove Gardens at East Lake

Grove Gardens at East Lake, located in Atlanta at the junction of the East Lake and East Atlanta neighborhoods, offers 70 units of affordable senior housing in a community experiencing rapid neighborhood change.  

The community will also help catalyze a series of neighborhood investments under the leadership of the Greater Piney Grove Community Development Corporation.  

Through this unique partnership, Georgia Communities has earmarked $100,000 in grants and matching funds to assist Piney Grove in executing a comprehensive neighborhood Transformation Plan. Initiatives include the development of a community garden, construction internship program and college scholarship program.
